Does washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday dry out your hair?

I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday, and people keep telling me it dries your hair, is that true?Does washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday dry out your hair?
There is only one rule you need to follow when it comes time to decide if you need to wash your hair or not. And that is --- wash it when it is dirty. If you need to wash your hair every day (you work in a dusty field or something?), then that is what you do. If your hair is not dirty, then don't.

I can't really believe that anyone needs to shampoo every day. It is merely an affectation. You'll come to your senses when you grow up. For now, since someone else is paying for all these cosmetics, who really cares?

Yes, shampooing when not necessary only robs your hair of nutrients it needs. Eventually, you are going to find your hair is dry, and weak, and wonder why. By then, the damage is done, and there is not much you can to repair it. Best not do it in the first place.Does washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday dry out your hair?
it depends if your hair isn't dry yet and you've been doing it for a while it's fine, i do the same thing, but i've found that on my hair at least i can also do it every other day and my hair still looks fine (it also saves money from water bills not to mention half the shampoo/conditioner) everyones hair is different, you know your hair best so do what works for you but hey if you want to try everyother day go ahead, you might save some money (it might feel greasy the first time you try it but give it a little bit, my hair adjusts i don't know that yours will but hey worth a shot)
yes; it removes the natural oils from your hair; and makes it very dry; thats why its reccomended to wash your hair every other day.
if your hair is oily, probably not but if its dry like mine, then yes :/ but preferably you should wash it every other day! ;D
