What happens if you wash your hair everyday with shampoo and use conditioner also?

Shampoo will really dry out your hair if used everyday. Realistically, you only have to use shampoo once a month! I know, I was a little weirded out by that too. I use conditioner every time I wash my hair instead of shampoo, and my hair is in its greatest condition ever. I have curly hair so retaining moisture is especially key or else it gets super frizzy and damaged looking. Using just conditioner may not feel like it's doing much of anything, but once I rinse it out my hair feels great. Using shampoo everyday will take its toll, most brands usually recommend using no more than 2-3 times a week, and even THAT is a lot. Of course, some people have to use it every time if they have psoriasis or really bad dandruff, but they use special shampoos. Try not to use hair products that make your hair feel gross, that way when you wash your hair it doesn't still feel like stuff is in it. I found with not shampooing often I don't even have to use products much anymore. I use Suave everything, most of their stuff is a knock off of the expensive stuff and none of it makes my hair feel gross. Hope this helps! What happens if you wash your hair everyday with shampoo and use conditioner also?
If you wash your hair everyday and is colored treated, then the color will fade faster than if you were to wash it every other day. But whether you have color treated hair or not, I don't think that it's that great because for 1 - shampooing can dry out your hair and 2 - to much conditioner can actually leave your hair flat. If you feel as if you can't go a day w/out washing your hair because it looks greasy, try rubbing some baby powder at your roots, and this should eliminate the shine. I also find that my hair is allot easier to style once my hair is a little dirty. Hoped this helped you. What happens if you wash your hair everyday with shampoo and use conditioner also?
I do that every day and the result is clean, soft and shiny hair. It's not like your hairs going to fall out.
Conditioning everyday is okay depending on hair type. Conditioner can build up on thescalp. Once a week I use 2 TBSP vinegar in 8 oz water and pour on my scalp and hair then rinse with warm water. This removes build up of all products and leaves a nice shine to hair. The vinegar smell does not remain in the hair. Try it!
it depends on what your hair like,my hair dry,it can also take the natural oils out your hair,by washing it to much dont put conditioner on your roots it weighs hair down!only apply conditioner to your ends,
It depends on your hair type and products used. By ';type'; I mean whether your hair is oily, dry, or ';normal,'; and also what ';type'; in terms of what race you are. There's a definite difference between ';white hair,'; ';black hair,'; ';asian hair,'; etc. If you wash and condition daily you'll have clean hair that's probably not tangled, etc., but you also may have some other results.

If you have very dry hair, for example, you should probably not wash it every day, and if you do (and even if you don't) you should be sure to use a conditioner that's really going to add moisture back. Washing too often will dry out your hair, and if you don't use the right conditioner to add back moisture your hair will look it.

If you have very oily hair, you'll need to wash it more often (unless you want to look like there's an oil slick on your head), and if condition as well then you want to be sure to use something light -- something that isn't oily and that isn't ';heavy.';

A lot of the products out there are gimmicky, in my opinion -- which is to say I don't think there's a lot of difference between many of them. But that's not true for all of them. And there is a reason (other than the almighty dollar and advertising!) why there are hair products specifically for hair that's dry, oily, normal, frizzy, kinky, straight, fine, thick, thin....etc.
It just depends upon your hair type and how long it is. My hair is just under 3 feet long now. If I washed hair this length every day and at my age (the older you get the less often you have to wash it because your scalp produces less oils) I would be bald. I wash my hair twice a week in the winter, three times a week in the summertime. And I use a heavy duty conditioner too. I may be in my fifties, but I still love my '60's hair.
it makes your hair look and smell good!
i do that... and my hair's perfectly fine and normal. it's quite nice, actually. my hair's naturally strait, and it's not damaged or anything.
clean hair?
i do clean hair
You will loose the nutrients from ur hair so the best thing to do is to wash it every other week!

HOPE i HELPED!
It all depends on your hair type. If your hair is not oily, you should only wash it every other day or 2. You may also find that if you don't wash it everyday, if fixes easier and looks better. But if you have oily hair, it is almost impossible to skip a day washing. (I have that problem.) Of course, for cleanliness, you have to take in the consideration of sweating and other things. Don't skip a day if you have just played a sport, wore a helmet, etc.
You will have clean hair.
if ur white nothing, u have clean hair with no greese or oil. i'm white an i prefer to wash and condition everyother day because i allowes my hair to be healthier and less dry. if ur black i believe ur hair will get very dry and break off. the african type hair needs the extra oils to stop breakage
you get clean hair?!?!?!
Robyn T is right, if you are black your hair needs to be treated extra gently, so perhaps instead of shampooing every day, shampoo every third day and on the other days if you feel grotty you could just rinse it and use your conditioner.
Umm.. nothing really. You'll have clean hair.

But if you use the same shampoo and conditioner over and over you will get buildup.
dont use it every dau beacue that will dry out ur hair after a while just shampooo and cond. them after every other day or afetr every 2 day
You have clean hair.
